The Femme Robotics Competition Preliminary Highlights

Kelechi Cynthia Udeh

As you may know, our NGO, TechFam, is focused on promoting tech skills among African women and girls. We recently organized The Femme Robotics Competition, an all-girls robotics competition, with the aim of encouraging young girls to pursue their interests in STEM fields. The preliminary round of the competition was held on April 26th, and I am happy to report that it was a huge success!

The participants showed an incredible level of enthusiasm and skill, and it was clear that they had put a lot of effort into their projects. We were thrilled to see such a diverse range of ideas and approaches to robotics, and we believe that this competition will have a lasting impact on the participants.

The grand finale of the competition is set to take place on May 10th, and we are looking forward to seeing the finalists' presentations. We have no doubt that they will impress us even more with their creativity and technical expertise.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for being such a great boss and inspiration to me. Your support has been invaluable in helping me pursue my passion for promoting gender mainstreaming and social inclusion. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you and look forward to continued success in our work together.

Thank you again for your support, and I hope to hear from you soon.
